Traffic was much that Friday afternoon, I had started the journey from palmgroove to Ajah to chill with my sister Saszy_afroshii that weekend.
She was waiting for me at Ajah bustop so she could give me the key to the house because she had an appointment that afternoon. I would have taken an Uber but you know, I didn't want the driver to burn his fuel in all that traffic, so as a considerate guy I wore my shorts, and jumped the bus like a real Lagosian. I finally meet up with my sister, and she requested an Uber that was going to take her to her destination.
Then she said I should come with her because she wanted to give me something and also gist a bit. Apparently she wasn't coming back that day because her appointment was till the next day. I was sad, so you will now leave me alone in the house I said, then she said I'm sorry, this is very important, that the appointment she had was with TENI and that it's her house we were going to at Lekki County (don't tell anyone I told you😉)
I was filled with joy, I said if you like stay there one week I no mind oo!!! She laughed.
Finally we got to her house and she called TENI'S manager to come out and take us in, which he did. He came out with another guy and Saszy asked me, do you know that guy? I said yes na, that's Tclassic. Fresh fine guy looking peng! Saszy came out and said Tclassic my guy, wats up, and Tclassic replied afroshii baddest! I dey oo. I remained in the car like a humblesmith and just waved at them like I was doing praise and worship. Then my sister came over and said I should come in, I smiled and said sorry dear I'm not ready. Until when you can introduce me to Teni and she says Awesome? Ahann I Know him now. Then I can come in with you. She smiled and said Trust the process bro, you will get there. I smiled and waved her bye as the Uber pulled away. I was happy, little sister from Alagbado chilling in the big league, but then it dawned on me! This girl dey craze oh! Make I enter TENI'S house with full beards that I hadn't shaved for 2weeks, ordinary round neck and shorts and my Aba made Nike slippers with dusty leg from jumping from one bus to another! I will call family meeting on her head! Telling me to trust which stupid process! But then again it's not a lie, I remember when she started back in 2010/2011. She started as a rapper and I too was rapping with her(whether na fufu I dey wrap e no concern you😤 I was Sha a rapper)
But after doing 1 track I gave up my rapping career, because I was laughed at by LAYCON!! Yes that LAYCON! We all did a song together back then in 2011 at Alagbado! (Alagbado seems to be bringing out stars oh, how many stars ur area don bring out?😂) LAYCON had laughed so hard at my verse because I said ''im awesome, check out my six packs''😂😂 I would have said in ur face LAYCON for laughing at me but you see where baba is now, so make I just hold my peace!😂
Chaii Omo forget, me sef don suffer oh!! Failed dancer, Failed rapper, Failed comedian... Even this one I'm doing now who knows abi? Lol, I'm sorry but I'm not going to Fail, I'm going to keep knocking till that door opens, and you too you need to do that! Trust the process! you are growing! Just keep doing what you are doing by the time you look back you will smile and say 'Awesome told me this thing before oh! Why was I even worried sef!!
