Wow! No idea how this series passed me by. I am gonna spend a little time reading through all of the previous editions as I see many names I am incredibly familiar with and a few I am not. Getting to know those I don't know and learning a little more about those I already 'think' I know helps to garner a lot more connection and community spirit IMHO.
It's always nice to read these sorts of posts because people often share something about themselves that we had no clue about. I was incredibly pleased to see a name and face that I know extremely well as we met at a Brit's Hive meetup last September.
@ShmoogleOsukami A.K.A 'The Ben' ((I'm not certain anyone has ever described him as The Ben before but I thought I'd try out the name and I bloody well liked it!!!)) Ben or Shmoogie was a genuine surprise, nothing like I anticipated from chatting in the #teamuk Discord server he is such an utterly lovely, warm guy and it was a privilege to meet this awesome lad and also his Dad who is a brand new Hive community addition this week I might add!!!
The second I heard Ben was starting a Hive witness, I clicked the vote witness button so hard, I almost broke my mouse!!!
Just from reading this snippet of the journey of each of these people it is utterly apparent just how diverse a family we are. My favourite part is that just between these 4 fabulous examples of what this community stands for we have a British dude, someone from Germany and 2 guys from very different parts of the U.S.
#Hive brings together such an unbelievably varied range of people, who exist in this space as unique individuals yet we are connected by our shared ideals and the things we stand for especially freedom to express whatever we want without fear of being deplatformed, decentralisation, something that needs to spread as an ethos to every corner of the planet, and our interest in crypto, which is not just a tool, but our weapon of choice for future freedom.
Fabulous to meet you all and learn a little more about your background and ethos. Privileged to share this space with you, may we all have an awesometastical shared journey that leads somewhere utterly bloody magnificent! 😎👍🚀
