litchi Chinensis, also known as Lychee as a common name is a fruit with a sweet taste. The jelly-like the flesh of the litchi is edible. The Lychee tree blooms in the spring season in hot climate areas. This juicy fruit is widely eaten in Southeast Asia. In Nepal, we enjoy eating lychee as well as drinking its juice. Litchi is generally produced in the Terai region in Nepal.
