I received downvotes from the "guardians" of Hive // Recebi downvotes dos "guardiões" do Hive

in OCD2 years ago

It seems that @hivewatchers decided to downvote me on several posts by accusing me of plagiarism/use of AI for the elaboration of my content. This made me very angry. First because those who follow me know how long I have been dedicating myself to posting on Hive almost daily almost as a job (because everything I earn here and can withdraw I use to pay the bills), then because this shows the lack of "humanization" in such a guardian of Hive, who may not have realized that at least in all the last posts of this month I used a tool that I pay monthly to create the cover art, spending my time on it instead of just getting any image from the Internet, as I had been doing in the past. Is this forbidden too? I mean, more work = less value? I started doing this exactly to add value to my contents and show that they are made with care and attention. Now about the content itself, yes, I have used ChatGPT like everyone else to research and learn about content, and used it to find the things I need in the posts I have been making, and used it for translations and linguistic corrections, because THAT IS WHAT IT IS FOR. Basically: To teach a subject, correct and improve its content. This does not make the author's production lesser or false! I wonder how Hive will cope with the fact that GPT Chat will be the new Google from now on. Am I better off taking a dusty, outdated encyclopedia from my library and producing outdated, faded content instead of being up to date and building content with the help of an artificial intelligence? But that's okay, I'm just really pissed off about all this, and I know what he wants. I know what is expected, but it's a shame that it will slow down the momentum of my work here at Hive instead of keeping me stimulated to compose content.

Rant, Complain, Talk for such topics.@thomashnblum next time please look for a more appropriate community. We have a community called

OCD community is for topics that don't fit in any other community and should be used when you don't find a niche community for your post.

Here's a guide I put together to help you learn about how communities work and why you should use them -> Communities Explained - Newbie Guide. I also put together a list of communities, which is not complete, there are much more communities on Hive, but it will help you get started.

Once you posted your post in the right community, you can then cross post it to OCD community. Here's a guide about cross posting.

Please don't delete any post with the purpose of reposting it in another community as that can be considered abuse. Leave this post here, you'll get it right next time.

Thanks again! I keep getting your comments on choosing the most suitable community for each topic, however, I confess that this has become almost a game of "finding the right niche", with me posting on OCD and waiting for your "Where should you have posted" comment. Sorry again! I will join the community and hopefully I won't have to use it much (after all, it's not for happy reasons that I'm here today posting).

Vamos seguir fortalecendo a Hive

Ainda estamos longe.

If you think that Hive is not good for you because fraud directed at the community to farm its shared reward pool should be allowed, there are many other options that you could try.
For example:
Steemit
Blurt

This answer is oversimplified and absolutely does not touch the merit of critics from the comment above.

This answer only confirms what I said. If you want to go to these blockchains, the door is open too your majesty. I own my hives as much as you own yours. There is a bias of understanding that needs to be remembered that the owners of Hive are all who own Hive, not peoples with more hive. Hivewatcher is only sustained by the absence of something better, and by the power of those who have more hives. For now.

Hivewatcher has a brilliant programmer, the plagiarism software and its ability to operate are fascinating, but some rules and the customer service for hive owners is terrible.

I did not say that I am in favor of fraud, or that it is not important to have control over fraud. I have no interest in another protocol, I came to Hive against centralization, since the Steem Takeover and unfortunately you could have stayed there. Your team could return to Steem, combines with hivewatcher, the characteristics remember Justin Sun and his arrogance. I'm going to stay at Hive and who knows, maybe one day we collectively can advance in the decentralized control of fraud's and education on hive. Not centralized and punitive control like yours. This will be progress in technology Hive as a whole.

The account was not blacklisted but it may be if you continue using Chat GPT to write articles for you in Portuguese (or any other language).

For spelling and grammar corrections, you can use Grammarly. As one example.
For translations from Portuguese, you can use Google Translate or DeepL.

That includes other account connected to you that also engaged in AI fraud
"malgarise".

What are actual bases to discriminate AI as a translation tool? How does it differ from other ways of translation?

The key ideas and effort come from author and translating to a common language is just a mean to connect with other people. I really enjoy content from @thomashnblum and I wouldn't be able to get a single sentence in Portugese.

Please, @hivewatchers come to your senses, even if your intentions are good and I agree with general guidelines the way you enforce your power more and more often is hurtful to the community. Also I asked in your post about AI content for clarification about decision process. Didn't get answer.

Do not throw a baby with a bathwater.

Thanks for the support @deepresearch, it would be nice if @hivewatcher answered, but it seems that it does not suit him to explain himself too much. And the worst of it all is feeling intimidated to question the positioning and end up getting on the blacklist...

Intentionally providing misleading information is not going to help the case.
Chat-GPT was used for auto-writing the content after a basic prompt in Portuguese.
It may have also been used for translation, but AI was primarily used to write the article in Portuguese.
Then it was also translated into English.

The fraud with AI is even more evident there.
If the account continues with this fraud, it will be blacklisted. You also engaged in similar fraud on another account @malgarise.

Thank you for your explanation. Generating entire pieces of content or rewriting content by other author using AI is a big no no.

I don't want to consume AI content when I don't ask for it explicitly. I'd feel tricked in that kind of situation. I'm fine with a translation though.

Please @thomashnblum can you elaborate on this? To what extend your content was generated with AI?

Okay, but can you give proof? How does the analysis work?
