Hoy el día amaneció con ganas de lluvia y en ese esperar que llueva, se me paso el tiempo y solo ahora en la tarde me pude dedicar a una tarea que se debe realizar cada cierto tiempo en el corral de las gallinas y me refiero a su limpieza.
Today the day dawned wanting rain and in that waiting for it to rain, time passed and only now in the afternoon could I dedicate myself to a task that must be carried out every so often in the hen house and I mean its cleaning.
Lola, Pola, Lala, Pancho y Panchote, son los habitantes del corral de aves en la granja, ellas producen los huevos consumidos en la granja, por lo que a diario contamos con dos ó tres huevos, depende del humor que tengan Lola, Pola y Lala, pero hay días que se ponen necias y no hay ninguno. Pancho es el gallo más joven, hijo de Panchote y Lola, es igual a su papá y nació en este corral.
Lola, Pola, Lala, Pancho and Panchote, are the inhabitants of the poultry pen on the farm, they produce the eggs consumed on the farm, so we have two or three eggs daily, it depends on the mood that Lola, Pola have. and Lala, but there are days that get stupid and there aren't any. Pancho is the youngest rooster, son of Panchote and Lola, he is the same as his father and he was born in this hen house.
Lala a pesar de ser la más pequeña, es la que se encarga de empollar los huevos, casi siempre son fértiles, pero en mi opinión el corral aún no presenta las condiciones necesarias para la reproducción de pollitos.
Lala is the smallest and is in charge of brooding the eggs, they are almost always fertile, but in my opinion the pen does not yet present the necessary conditions for the reproduction of chickens.
Dentro del gallinero siempre tengo una jaula independiente para el resguardo de las pequeñas aves al nacer junto a la madre, pero si estos se escapan, pueden ser atacados por las gallinas grandes, como ya me ha pasado, y si salen del corral es peor, porque ahí con los perros tampoco es nada agradable el desenlace.
Inside the hen house I always have an independent cage for the protection of the small birds when they are born next to the mother, but if they escape, they can be attacked by the large hens, as has already happened to me, and if they leave the hen house it is worse, because there with the dogs the outcome is not pleasant either.
La limpieza del gallinero es necesaria, mover la tierra, rastrillar y sacar lo innecesario, además limpiar el envase del agua, pues a las gallinas les encanta bañarse en tierra y por lo general con el aletear lo llenan de tierra.
Cleaning the chicken coop is necessary, moving the earth, raking and removing the unnecessary, in addition to cleaning the container of the water, because chickens love to bathe in dirt and usually with their flapping they fill it with earth.
Así está ordenado un espacio del cual nos beneficiamos sanamente. Esta operación de limpieza me tomó tan solo 30 minutos y ellas disfrutaron mucho comiendo cuando insecto comenzó a salir.
This is how a space is ordered from which we benefit healthily. This cleaning operation took me only 30 minutes and they really enjoyed eating when the bug started coming out.
¿Qué hoy es domingo? Sí, pero la granja no para en sus actividades, a veces se retrasan, pero nunca paran. Hoy Lola, Pola, Lala, Pancho y Panchote disfrutan de su corral limpio y andan picoteando y escarbando por doquier.
