My first post on hive

I'm Alyssa. I am 28 years old and am learning not to take life too seriously. Well all in all a bag of bones is okay anyway? My biggest goal in life is to educate myself with academics and people who have had experience with mental health struggles. I have my struggles but I will be the first to admit that I don't know it all. Feel free to educate me sometime and forgive me for not knowing all this. I am working on my confidence and improving myself. I am planning to work as a Peer Specialist and hope to pursue in mental health field. Who knows where I'll wind up, to be honest. I have a mind that moves fast, I can be easily distracted and I'm teaching myself that it's time to focus on getting on with things more.

I absolutely love animals and feel a deep connection with them..Despite not being a vegetarian. Crucify me I know, it sounds hypocritical that I've had random encounters where people comment on that. It's me now who knows down the line if I'll fall apart. I own it. I need my protein.

I love being silly. While everyone flatters their best, often you will see me deliberately looking like I could care less. You'll see me cross my eyes, doing my double or something goofy. I like to make people laugh. Who doesn't love being around someone who makes them laugh?

I am trying to be more confident and face my fears. As you can see I am a kid when it comes to roller coasters so I had to add this to give you guys a laugh. That was years ago, but I'm excited to face more fears as time goes on!

I have ADD/ADHD so I need to learn how to structure my train of thought. I need to learn how to keep my writing more cohesive. Over time we will see my writing improve so stay with me! :) I believe that I am genuine and kind. I try to be as kind as I can, but if you show disrespect to me you will be treated the same way.

I was researching web 3.0 and I found hive while doing so. I also saw a few tweets about hive awhile ago and I got curious. I did my research on hive. That's how I got here.

2. For tips and information as a Hive newbie, click here: newbie guide.
3. The important thing is Hive is a bit different from other social media platforms since you are monetizing your blog. You can't include content that you don't own without sources. For more information, check this post: Why and How People Abuse and Plagiarise.
