It still looks like a nightmare to me,I lost my hive keys yesterday,it happened when I gave my phone to someone who wanted to play some games on my phone but I didn't stay with him to collect my phone back,he must have deleted it by mistake and didn't tell me about it, it's so sad I didn't write it down in a notebook or backed it up in my Gmail, I've downloaded different apps from playstore but none worked well for me so I decided to create a new account and this time I've saved it in many places like Gmail,notes and drafted it on wps office,I can only get my funds out with ecency since I used the active key to sign in,I would not be posting on my old account anymore,I would only post on this new one as from now on.
A little piece of advice I can pass across with my experience is that we should be careful with people we give our phone's to.
To those who haven't learnt the usefulness of their keys,it gives full assess to our money, I'll suggest your follow this simple steps to keep your keys safe.
Firstly I would suggest you print out your keys as PDF and keep it in a safe shelf in your home for security purpose Incase you misplaced your phone.
Secondly you can download it and use a password manager to store it,make sure you store it with a strong password which is unique to you only.
Let's try to make sure we backup those keys into our Gmail also,so it can be in multiple places to have access to.
I hope you all would learn from my little bit of experience, it's so sad i lost the key's.

Sorry that you where not able to get your keys back Victor, and great that you have taken steps to back them up now, just make sure that the backup you keep on Google is strongly encrypted before uploading so that it does not get into the wrong hands, uploading your password database file for KeePass2Android might be the best way to ensure that it is strongly encrypted and safe, and safely storing offline of your Master Password is another great backup.
