I would not say it's been difficult for me, rather I would say it has not been easy. Whatever the case, I give God the glory!
For some time now, I have been away from here. Sincerely, it is not in my intention to do so. I have been busy in all ramifications per se haha.
I wish to say my experiences so far with businesses I have encountered. Do well to read to the end!
A month ago, I went to get myself a new device(Samsung Galaxy A52) after saving up for months for it. It was difficult to get this particular model of Samsung phone cos of its scarcity in my town then. I had to enter about three(3) accessories shops before I saw this model of Samsung.
On reaching the last shop, I saw the model of the phone I needed and proceeded to make payments accordingly. On using my debit card for the payment, it refused to go through unknowing to me that the bank had frozen my account. Personally, I hate going to the bank cos it's a pure waste of time.
I was not only pissed but frustrated as to why I can't make use of my money. I went to the bank immediately. Asked why my account was frozen. Can you imagine what they said to me? "They said my account exceeded its max allocation for money". And you guess how much that was? "200,000 naira(about $400)". I was so pissed! I asked what to do to get my account upgraded. I was asked to go get my utility bill, identity card, and passport.
I had to go home, get these things cos I needed to pay for the device immediately. It took about two(2) hours to get my account upgraded with me running helter-skelter trying to stamp one document or the other.
Even after the upgrade, I was told to wait for 24 hours before I could make use of my account. I'm like WTF!! After all the stress to get this thing done? I told them I can't wait. I don't know what they did, I just told them I need my money. They gave me a form to filled and I got my money.
On reaching where I was to buy the phone, I spoke to one of the stakeholders that adopting cryptocurrency as a means of payment won't be a bad idea at all. I outlined the advantages to back up my statement and she saw the need and said she will look into it.
Now, this is my point, with cryptocurrency;
- Easy transaction- I could have easily sent some tokens worth $200 to her so it will cover for delivery for the device.
- It is fast.
- Secured
- There is no stress attached unlike going to the bank.
- With a crypto wallet, I can have over $1billion with no account upgrade or whatsoever.
- Decentralization
Having said all of these, I would like to introduce you all to an application where you could earn cryptocurrency by just completing a simple task, for example sharing a post on Facebook.
