RE: It's Time To Be Audacious | Maserati's New MC20.

in OCD4 years ago

I do like a Maserati, though their brand has recently been a bit stale, although very Italian-ly charming. Thank goodness the MC20 came about, because I was close to giving up on ever liking them again. Having watched loads of car videos shot in Australia, it sounds like Adelaide is where a lot of rich people live, no? I think the most prominent of which is Ferrari Adelaide.

Sort:

The people who own Adelaide Ferrari also own the Lambo dealership here and the Ferrari and Lambo dealerships in Melbourne too...They are property developers though, cars are secondary. They are far from the richest people here though. Small fish really.

Jeez, I didn't know you lived right up in Australia's high-street. I remembered driving through Mont Kiara once, which is the local millionaire's township just outside of KL. I'm firmly in the middle-class, but seeing Lambos parked on the street, I felt very, very poor.

Yeah, I'm poor too...No supercars in my driveway.

At least you have a shiny Land Cruiser, though. That's a bucket load of fun if I've heard of one :-D

Yeah, it's what I'd choose to have, over anything else anyway. :)

I can't fault anyone for that. I was attracted to that funky, almost three door FJ Cruiser at one point. It's a pretty cool looking thing, although quite a rarity to find. They're almost nonexistent here.

Oh yeah, the FJ. Loads of them here. They were good, 4.0L but the only problem was they only made them in petrol, no diesel. A bit limiting, not as good for off-roading. A shame really.
