You will always be this and that to many persons
You will either be good or bad?
Kind or unkind
Generous or ungenerous
Mannerless or not
Smart or a dummy
Wise or foolish
Insolent or respectful
Lovely or unlovely
Beautiful in character or ugly in character
Funny and jovial or the other way round
To many, you may become both of thee above mentioned and more, all depending on the time interval or the moment at which all those are displayed.
But the truth is; people will always define you based on their own perspectives and according to how you treat them at a particular point in time.
The same YOU that was good to them about an hour ago can turn out to be bad to them as well in the next hour all depending on how they wanna judge it.
But the thing here is;
Accept nobody's definition of you; rather define yourself
It's high time you start looking at yourself a bit higher than what people tell you or how people tend to define you.
It's OK for them to call you a bad bitch or bad ass at some point
But what is not OK is accepting to remain the way they define you.
Come on! Live above what people say or how people treat you.
Don't give any son of Adam or daughter of Eve a chance to say really bad and mean things to you all the time, all because of their unending judgement and criticism.
You've got the power to choose for yourself
Be yourself and define yourself.
It all lies within you.!
Define Yourself.!

That's very correct. If we keep waiting for the validation of others in order to feel good with ourselves, we will never get it. Validate yourself. Define yourself. Accept yourself. And love yourself. Great post!
Thank you @resuscitate for stopping by to read through and comment.
It's true that we need self-validation most times and it's very important. Thanks again, steem on!

It matters what you are and not what others want you to be or think of you.
Respecting other people is important and is a value, but in the same way it is important to have respect for yourself.
Fully agree with you @zellyperl
