It's crazy how humans are constantly seeking approval. We want the society to see us as successful. We want out friends to see us as perfect and so we create a fake world and force ourselves to do the biddings of others even when it goes against our believes and standards as a person. It's a good thing you've put it out there. We ought to learn to accept ourselves just the way we are and do what makes us happy cos at the end of it all, we are the ones that truly matters not the other person..
