RE: Morrocoy ‘Chelonoidis carbonaria’ excavando nido y enterrando huevos.

It must be a very rare species. In the front yard of my house I have 1 male and 3 females, and because of that, I always find nests with hatched eggs, eggs in the open air and small tortoises. The small tortoises that I find I place them in a planter. I have all sizes and when there are too many I give them as gifts.

Something that has always attracted my attention is that tortoises are the only vertebrates whose limbs are found deep to the ribs.
