Nature always wins

I have recently watched National Geographic's series "Life After People". Very interesting to imagine what would happen to a world without humans. Well I think the main question would be: How fast would nature take over the world? What would happen with everything we built? Well, nature would slowly take back everything we've built. Skyscrapers would crumble, roads would crack, and forests would spread over big cities.

Today, I have seen that thing in real life in the most unexpected place - parking lot. Here was a tree wholly surrounded by a metal barrier, growing around him as if the obstacle had never existed. It is a silent testimony of nature's resilience.

It made me reflect a bit: no matter how much we reshape the world to suit our needs, nature never stops. It does not surrender, it adapts and overcomes and endures. If humankind were to disappear tomorrow, the forests would reclaim the cities, rivers would start to flow freely again, and in time the Earth would heal itself.

One thing is certain: this Earth will survive, whether we are here or not. It has survived mass extinctions, cataclysms, and ice ages-much bigger disturbances than anything we could ever hope to cause. We, on our part, are much more fragile than we would like to believe in. While we try to modify nature to our will, in the end, it is we who must adapt-or disappear.
A small, quiet reminder in the parking lot reminded me of that unstoppable force called Nature.
and of course a big reminder of where we stand in the natural order.
Just some thoughts I wanted to share with you.
