Parfois on rencontre sans trop savoir si on a de la chance, si notre obstination a été enfin récompensée, ou si on est celui qui a tout compris d'un animal bien méconnu. Bon, la 3e option est à oubliée ! Disons que ma tête de mulle a fini par payer un jour de chance de cocu ! Et la raie Manta Birostris, ou plutôt les 10 raie Manta Birostris, sont apparues un jour de juin !	Sometimes we meet without knowing if we are lucky, if our obstinacy has finally been rewarded, or if we are the one who has understood everything of a well-known animal. Well, the 3rd option is forgotten! Let’s say that my head of mulle has finally paid for a lucky day cuckold! And the Manta Birostris, or rather the 10 Manta Birostris, appeared one day in June! (Not sure that the French expressions "tête de mulle" or "chance of cuckold" are well transcribed in English by Google!)

La raie Manta Birostris c'est la plus grande des 2 espèces connues. Plus de 5m d'envergure à l'âge adulte ! Une vraie pélagique, ne se rapprochant des côtes que pour s'y nourrir. Pesant près d'une tonne. Et le tout avec un déplacement d'une grâce incomparable. En voici quelques images prises lors de cette rencontre.	The Manta Birostris is the largest of the 2 known species. More than 5m wingspan at adulthood! A true pelagic, approaching the coasts only to feed. Weighing almost a ton. And all with a movement of incomparable grace. Here are some images taken during this meeting.
