CC Licenses can sometimes be a bit confusing, when you are not familiar with them. The explanation is appreciated.
Excellent, dear @quantumg. Very clearly explained. For Public Domain images, I like to use https://picryl.com as well.

You've added a couple of sites to my list. Thanks for that too.

    I am not sure if picryl really contains exclusively public domain images.
    Even in their own disclaimer they say that they define the listed images as public domain whenever they simply have no information about the respective copyright status.

    But I take the hug anyway and I hug you back. :-D
