Today I offer a collection of pictures for LIL, the LMAC Image Library. Some of these pictures were taken on a family outing. My granddaughter is going to college in less than two weeks, so this was a nostalgic gathering. Most of the bird pictures were taken then.
If there is a theme to this week's collection, I guess it would be outdoors. It is a season to be outside, if possible.
I hope these pictures are useful to Hive bloggers. Bloggers from any community may borrow from LIL, since all pictures are in the public domain. Everyone on Hive may contribute to the library. Procedures may be found here.

I didn't know about LIL and had to read the site page to comprehend it. I think it's a brilliant way to help content creators who need use of photos, while also supporting the LIL contributors through beneficiary, and this provides a better exposure feedback loop and support for both content creators. Super cool!

Stunning thing to read! I never was interested in photography, until I started taking pictures for LIL. Hive and this community have been great for me, and I think they have been good for a lot people.

Thank you @quantumg. I'm getting a lot of exercise :)) My husband and I have a new hobby. Today he spotted the statue of a black rhino !! I'll have to see how that came out😇.
As for the clock tower: I looked it up. You have a great eye. It was built in 1895 and is described as Richardson Romanesque. Romanesque is definitely European. The tower is the central landmark in a local community here, Roslyn, NY.
Hope it has cooled off over there a bit. Was quite hot today here. We had to seek shelter indoors after a very little time because walking was just not feasible in the heat.
