One never knows for sure what an artist wants to say. And, an artist never knows what the audience will understand. So, I see in your amazing collage a reflection of my own concerns and ideas. To me it is quite clear (because my ideas are clear to me😄).
That guy with the pompadour and grand house is stealing those berries right out from under the nose of the gentleman with the wheelbarrow. That poor man works day and night to haul his berries and put food on the table. He cuts wood to warm his humble shack. And the guy with the pompadour...he's got that fancy hook and the advantage, way up there on that limb.
And the snake...well the snake tells us it's all a trick and the little man will be betrayed. No matter how hard he works.
That's what I see. I also see the delight you took in creating this masterpiece. I'm glad you found the time and inspiration to create a collage this week. Very rewarding for you, and your audience.
Have a great week. Enjoy the company of your friends and family. What else can we do?
Edit
The butterfly belongs to redheadpei, I believe, not me. I see she is the beneficiary but not noted in the blog. Thought you would like to know.
Hi,
What a joy to see you read my collage as if it were a book. I was not so sure whether one would be able to see it. After all, sometimes only the artist himself can see the message. Makes me nervous every time I do a collage. :-D
You hammered the nail right on its head with your wonderful analysis.
Many thanks @agmoore for your words. And also, thank you very much for pointing out my little mistake to me. :-)
I appreciate this great collage of yours @quantumg. It looks fantastic. More or less I agree with @agmoore about the underlying thoughts.
What terrifies me is to think that same scenario happens in every branch in every tree in the background.
On the other hand, you have very nice color and texture blend. It is joyful to stare and contemplate over it.
Thank you @m1alsan. I'm very happy you like it.
Me too.
Above every branch there is always a branch higher up. And it's like with the birds, where the lower sitting ones are always full of the poop of the others. It appears to me in this light as if this is just kind of a natural order in social systems. :-D
