LMAC Theme Contest #1 - Good Old Friend

Hello, LMAC community!

Today, I’d like to share my entry for the Let's Make a Collage - Theme Contest #1, with the theme "Good Old Friend."

Honestly, I wasn't quite sure what to write for my blog this time. But I’d like to express a few thoughts I have for this theme.

If I could travel back in time and witness certain moments, I would love to see how the world functioned in the past-especially in times I never experienced. I’d be curious to observe how people lived their lives back then. Another thing I’d love to do, if I could peek into my past, is to visit my childhood self. I believe my best friend during that time was actually me. I want to relive those simple moments and feel that friendship with myself again. Unlike now, when I often feel like a stranger to who I am. There are parts of myself I barely recognize anymore.

Unfortunately, we can’t really do that. What I can do, though, is to seek out the missing pieces from those times and bring them together in the present. I mean gathering those cherished memories and keeping them safe, so I can revisit them whenever I want.

Alright, enough of that! Now, you can enjoy the collage I've created below. For this piece, I chose to use black and white colors to give a deeper impression of the theme.

Es extraordinario. Te felicito.

😟

Sometimes I think we have to pull something apart and then put it together again to really understand how it ticks. I think you'll find all the pieces and come back stronger :)

I love this one. Black and white works really well for nostalgia. I'm sure the ox has significance, but it does help to emphasize your innocence. And the butterflies...fantasy and dreams, the essence of a child's psyche.
