Hello LMAC! It's been awhile, but I'm excited to finally submit another set of pictures to the LMAC Image Library! This time, I've rendered out a bunch of angles and SEASONS of a tree!
At first glance, the angles all seem to be the same, but the reason I included a front, back, left, and right version is for variety, in case you want to use more than one in a collage.
A lot of times in 3D you use the same object over and over, but you rotate it and scale it so that it doesn't look like the same object being repeated. That was the same idea I had for this. So if you want to make a forest, for example, use all 4 angles, instead of the same one over and over again and layer those.
Also included for each angle are 3 different seasons. A Summer/Spring which is more green, a Fall version which is more yellow and orange, and a winter version which is no leaves at all.
And of course, as always, these are all transparent png files, which should just drag and drop very nicely on your collages!
I hope you enjoy them, I plan on making several more types and styles of trees like this!

How did you do this fanstatically generic illumination? Was it a combination of HRDI and a set of lights?
Thanks! I actually only used one sun lamp and that was it. No HDRI. I think I set the amount to 12 and the softness or angle or whatever it’s called to something pretty high like 35. So it mimics a cloudy or overcast day. No hard shadows at all
The result is wonderfully reusable. Everyone can illuminate these trees the way it feels best.
So captivating and believable.
