Ich trete hiermit ebenso an. Allerdings, natürlich, außer Konkurenz. Denn als Jury-Mitglied, darf ich nicht an der Gewinner-Auslosung teilnehmen.
About my collage
The legend of Phaethon, who stole the celestial chariot and caused a lot of trouble with it, is certainly famous to many.
He ultimately had to be stopped by Zeus so that his actions would not destroy the world.
Struck by Zeus' lightning, he fell dead into a river.
But another god, his friend Cycnus (meaning swan), mourned Phaethon so much that Apollon finally had mercy and turned the dead Phaethon into a living swan.
In my picture, Phaethon in the shape of the swan meets a child who has stolen a boat and then got lost. Who would be more qualified to teach this little person about the dangers and consequences of foolish actions?
Über meine Collage
Vielen kennen sicherlich die Legende des Phaethon, der den Himmelswagen entführte und damit allerlei Unsinn anstellte.
Er musste letztlich von Zeus gestoppt werden, damit sein Tun die Welt nicht zerstörte.
Von Blitz des Zeus getroffen, fiel er tot in einen Fluss.
Doch ein anderer Gott, sein Freund Cycnus (bedeutet Schwan), trauerte so sehr um Phaethon, dass letztlich Apollon sich erbarmte, und den toten Phaethon in einen lebendigen Schwan verwandelte.
In meinem Bild trifft Phaeton in Schwanen-Gestalt auf ein Kind, dass ein Boot stahl und sich damit verfuhr. Wer wäre geeigneter, dieses kleine Menschlein über die Gefahren und Konsequenzen törichten Handelns zu unterrichten?

These are the materials I have made use of to create my collage. Additionally to Photo Bashing, I also painted some details myself (shadows, lights, stars...).
For the work on the collage I only used the open source image editor GIMP.

Materialien
Dies sind die Materialien die ich zum Erstellen meiner Collage verwendet habe. Zusätzlich zum Photobashing, habe ich auch Details selbst gemalt (Schatten, Lichter, Sterne...).
Ich habe für die komplette Arbeit an der Collage, das open source Bildbearbeitungsprogramm GIMP verwendet.

LMAC is a great community for artists of all skill levels. The name of the community is an abbreviation and stands for "Let's make a collage".

We are currently building our own photo/image library that we can use as a image source for our collages, but also every Hiver beyond LMAC is very welcome to use the images in it.

I think the kid had stolen the boat to travel far above the clouds to reach the unimaginable. As he was crossing one of the ethereal level, Phaethon appeared to advise that it may not be wise to go further! The Swan said: "First of all, aiming for good with a false start will not prove anything other than more tears and hatred left downside!". The boy was amazed and trying to grasp what he was experiencing. He didn't even remember the words spoken afterwards while watching The Swan drifting away and turning transparent silhouette and disappear.
Thanks for inspiration for imagination.
