About my collage
Did you know plants can see?
After all, plants have 11 different light sensors and can recognise differences in light.
This enables them to distinguish between leaves in their vicinity and colours and can react to various threats. This ability is made possible by special proteins such as phytochromes, which absorb light of different wavelengths and can pick up important information from their surroundings.
You will never go unseen in a wide open space, and certainly not deep in the forest! Billions and billions of eyes are always on you.

Pflanzen besitzen immerhin 11 verschiedene Lichtsensoren und können Lichtunterschiede sinnvoll wahrnehmen.
So können sie Blätter in ihrer Nachbarschaft und Farben unterscheiden und auf diverse Bedrohungen reagieren. Diese Fähigkeit wird durch spezielle Proteine wie Phytochrome unterstützt, die Licht unterschiedlicher Wellenlänge absorbieren und wichtige Informationen aus der Umgebung aufnehmen können.
Du bleibst niemals ungesehen auf weiter Flur und schon gar nicht tief im Wald! Abermilliarden von Augen sind dort stets auf dich gerichtet. :-)
Materials and creation
I applied different LUTs to the final result and did a lot of photobashing. The LUTs are for example, the Simple Denoise LUT by Shamoon Abbasi and the ‘Wonder Woman’ LUT by Hollywood LUTs.
I used the open source image editing programme GIMP for all the work on the collage.
For the colours, I orientated on classic, psychedelic works.

Materialien und Erstellung
Zusätzlich zum Photobashing, habe ich verschiedene LUTs auf das Endresultat angewendet. Die LUTs sind zum Beispiel das Simple Denoise LUT von Shamoon Abbasi und das "Wonder Woman" LUT von Hollywood LUTs.
Ich habe für die komplette Arbeit an der Collage, das open source Bildbearbeitungsprogramm GIMP verwendet.
Farblich, habe ich mich an klassischen, psychedelischen Werken orientiert.

What is LMAC?
LMAC is a great community for artists of all skill levels. The name of the community is an abbreviation and stands for "Let's make a collage".
Just take a look. Even if you think you are not an artist, LMAC will probably prove you wrong.

Of course, you are also invited to present your collages to us, even if you don't take part in the contest.
Are you a good photographer and would like to contribute some nice good quality photos in exchange for good votes and tribute?
We are currently building our own photo/image library that we can use as a image source for our collages, but also every Hiver beyond LMAC is very welcome to use the images in it.
