My warmest congratulations to you and your husband on your 50th anniversary, @agmoore. How lucky you both are that you have not had to walk this long and exciting journey alone all these years, but with someone you love.
My wife and I know each other for more than 30 years. We will soon have been together for 25 years. Time has passed so quickly. But the more years go by, the greater our treasure of shared memories. Once we were single stems, now there is one bigger stem in history. And I'm beginning to enjoy that more and more as I become more and more aware of it. I feel a deep connection to her, much deeper than 25 years ago. Can't imagine how deep that connection must be after 50 years.

I love to read your descriptions of your relationship with your wife. So much love and dedication come through. My husband and I were very similar in some ways at the start, and in some ways very different. Over the years, the differences have mostly faded. I like to think he has become more like me 😆, but I think it's more that the differences don't matter.
Virtually a lifetime together. We are grateful to have had it, whatever lies ahead.
