ENGLISH CONTENT
Hello to all the members of this community and collage lovers! I almost didn't make it, but I remembered and was able to get my participation ready for the monthly contest 😅 I admit that it is much more relaxing than when it was weekly (because I always got busy and ended up participating almost a day before the closing 🙃), but now that it is monthly... the days fly by and before I know it, here I am, participating again almost at the last minute 😆
Anyway... I didn't have a clear idea when I saw the base photo, but when I started looking through the community's image gallery I wanted to focus on a somewhat melancholic theme. To do so, I selected the images that seemed most appropriate for the composition. The blue flower by @mballesteros seemed perfect to me, since sadness, loneliness and nostalgia are usually associated with cold colors.
Well... I wanted to work a little on my current mood, which I consider to be somewhat melancholic. The setting would be the base photograph to which I applied a grayscale effect, since when we are discouraged, we see everything "without color". I placed the blue flowers as a representation of sad thoughts and two figures that represent some forms of emotion when one is in that state. The first is the one who has the tools to get ahead, but can't help but feel overwhelmed, so he uses the umbrella as a boat (which allows him not to sink in the river), but the rain keeps falling on him.
The other figure or representation of sadness is that where feelings are repressed so much, until they reach a point where it is impossible to continue keeping them inside, surfacing towards the outside, but breaking us in the process.
In addition to that, I placed some more representative figures as the "escape" from that state of mind, which is why they seem to be fleeing from their sad representations.
Blue butterflies change color once we let go of negativity and are ready to move forward. That's why life seems to look more colorful wherever these silhouettes go.
I have no idea why I came up with this, but I liked it so... Here it is! 😆 I used Photoshop to make the collage and the Line Camera app to give it some final effects 😉

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de ésta comunidad y amantes de los collages! Por poco y no llego, pero me acordé y pude tener lista mi participación en el concurso mensual 😅 Admito que es mucho más relajante que cuando era semanal (porque siempre me ocupaba y terminaba participando casi un día antes del cierre 🙃), pero ahora que es mensual... los días pasan volando y cuando menos me doy cuenta, aquí estoy, de nuevo participando casi a última hora 😆
En fin... No tenía una idea definida al ver la fotografía base, pero cuando comencé a revisar la galería de imágenes de la comunidad tuve deseos de enfocarme en un tema un tanto melancólico. Para ello, seleccioné las imágenes que me parecieran más acorde para la composición. La flor azul de @mballesteros, me pareció perfecta, ya que la tristeza, la soledad y la nostalgia se suelen asociar con colores fríos.
Bien... quería trabajar un poco sobre mi ánimo actual, el cual considero que es un tanto melancólico. El escenario, sería la fotografía base a la cual le apliqué un efecto de escala de grises, ya que cuando andamos desanimados, todo lo vemos "sin color". Coloqué las flores azules como representación de pensamientos tristes y dos figuras que representasen algunas formas de emoción cuando uno se encuentra en aquel estado. El primero, es aquel que tiene las herramientas para salir adelante, pero no puede evitar sentirse agobiado, por eso utiliza el paraguas como bote (lo que le permite no hundirse en el río), pero la lluvia sigue cayendo encima suyo.
La otra figura o representación de la tristeza, es aquella donde los sentimientos se reprimen tanto, hasta que llega un punto en que es imposible seguir manteniéndolos dentro, aflorando hacía el exterior, pero rompiéndonos en el proceso.
Adicional a eso, coloqué unas figuras representativas más como el "escape" de ese estado de ánimo, por eso, parecen estar huyendo de sus representaciones tristes.
Las mariposas azules, cambian de color una vez que dejamos de lado la negatividad y estamos dispuestos a salir adelante. Por eso, hacía donde se dirigen estas siluetas, la vida parece verse más colorida.
No tengo ni la más remota idea de porqué se me ocurrió esto, pero me gustó así que... ¡Aquí lo tienen! 😆 Utilicé Photoshop para elaborar el collage y la app Line Camera para darle unos efectos finales 😉

I love what you did here. You manage to capture the spirit of the children in the original picture I took. I remember that day. It was drizzling. There were puddles of water that we all tried to avoid. But right there in the middle of it two parents encouraged their child to splash around and make a mess :)) It was a dark day, and in it they found joy.
Your collage has a lovely message, beautifully executed.

Me parece muy bonito tú collage. Creo que los sentimientos son muy motivadores a la hora de crear arte, muchos artistas plásticos se guiaban por sus sentimientos, sobretodo los negativos. Debe ser como tú dices que es una forma de aflorar hacia el exterior lo que sienten internamente.
Tus letras me hicieron recordar a Frida Kahlo.
Espero que ese ánimo melancólico que dices tener sea pasajero y solo aflore para hacer arte! 😉
