The invention of the Internet has brought many advantages, from the simple fact of being able to connect with others "no matter the distance" to communicate to facilitate the achievement of any information.
In recent years, employers have found the Internet as a means of recruiting employees, and some of them have launched programs or platforms with a remunerative nature for those who join and are a productive part of these programs. Most of these are focused on the area of marketing, that is, they are directed to answer some surveys, those who register or subscribe have the option to earn money by answering certain amounts of surveys of various kinds.
On another note, Venezuela is experiencing one of the strongest recessions in its history, production in recent years is perhaps the lowest, the inflationary index is collapsing the economic life of the Venezuelan thus generating a general deficit due to the little support income they can get in the labor market. Therefore, the world of work through the Internet plays a tangible role in increasing the salary income of many Venezuelans.
Through this idea, the need to recreate a survey with three questions focused on how Venezuelans are using or exploiting these online employment tools was presented.
The questions were asked to 15 young people between 20 and 35 years of age who had a computer and internet at home.
The following is the development of the survey:
1.- Do you know of any website or platform that offers online employment for pay?
Yes: 87%.
No: 13%
2.- You have been employed in an online job
Yes: 60%.
No: 40
3.- How has your experience been in online employment economically?
Profitable: 27%.
Regular: 13%
Not profitable: 20%.
Don't know: 40%
The results obtained show the little use that has been made of the employment opportunities found in some platforms or websites by young Venezuelans. However, some of the information collected informally presents the poor service of telecommunications in the sector, as one of the factors obviously detrimental to increasing performance for the fulfillment of tasks and thus increase income.
The benefits of the internet cannot be overemphasized. It gives many people an edge, no matter what the economy of the nation is saying. You could get jobs outside your country, and make an earning for yourself.
