yeah I never really left it (just persevered). I know a few folks had trouble with getting blocked out because of the algorithm thinking they were playing the system. I've never experienced any issues myself, even though it would still beat using google for everything :)

I noticed the search results are similar to those returned by Google with minor differences. A couple of months aho when I first tried Presearch, the results were worse I remember

I think they have definitely got better. I actually use it as my main search engine at work (because a programmer with out searching the web is no programmer at all). It has done reasonably well and returns viable search results not inconsistent with google for what I am looking for which is good. Also give the top hits I expect when I look for specific industry related terms which is great. I don't want to dig three pages down to get the relevant stuff.

I might give it a try as my main search engine. I'm using Startpage right now because it gives the same results as Google without the tracking. I used duckduckgo before I got hired, but I can't use it at work, most of the times ai can't find what I need.
