Inspired business ideas
It was a rainy morning, and my waking thoughts were about reaching more people with my business training.
During the face-to-face training, I saw a handful of people get it
and take their ideas forward in a planned and deliberate manner. I wondered 'How could I reach more people, especially Africans who couldn't find this information so easily?'
My mind was already ticking over with new ideas and courses I could design, and this was before my morning coffee!
With all that excitement on new ideas, I tend to make it happen. This time around, I have been more thoughtful about ideas from my lessons learned. One of my lessons learned - invest time upfront in clarifying and validating your idea before implementing. Believe me; it saves time and money. These are scarce resources that require optimal efficiency, especially if you are starting lean and wear many hats.
I'm going to start documenting in six points. Today, I leave you with the first thing to keep in mind about ideas:!
#1 New ideas are everywhere
People think that coming up with a new business idea is the most challenging thing in the world. It's not. New ideas are all around us. Improving on an existing idea is happening almost every day. There are lots of ideas around, in the most ordinary things. Just look around you. Some business ideas are a bit wild or different, and they could be risky ventures. Other ideas may be comparatively tame because doing the same things over and over.
