This is an interesting post, and like you, I had also been watching these price movements.
I agree with you that there is a lot of personal agendas being fought over which is not very useful for most platform users. However, I think the dust will settle and one of the platforms will thrive. Money talks, and if the price keeps moving in these directions then Hive will be the winner. However, it is early days still. We haven't seen what Justin will do on Steem yet and he has money to back a big PR move if he wants to.
Indeed is still too soon to predict how things will go. All we can do now is to wait and watch.
