Newdex, a decentralized trading/exchange platform built on EOS about 2 years ago is easily one of the best of such platforms across the globe. It is a fast, free, safe, and user-friendly exchange.
You can read more about Newdex in this article published on 30th April, 2020: https://medium.com/@marketing_27690/everything-about-newdex-438e6342ce27
In its bid to continually provide users with the best of services, Newdex invested in Leafwallet, an easy to use EOS wallet. This article will focus on Leafwallet and why you should use it as a Newdex user.
LEAFWALLET
Leafwallet is designed for everyday use, it is the first such EOS wallet, compatible with Scatter and available as a plug-in extension, it is secure and gives room for efficiency as users can operate many DApps using the wallet.
Just like many other applications built on the EOS blockchain, Leafwallet requires you to stack some amount for CPU, however, it is important to state that this wallet prevents hacking as it doesn’t allow hackers crack the account and also prevent intrusion. The wallet is encrypted, provides Single-Sign On (SSO) asymmetric encryption which allows a user to log in without having to enter any password, it is saved only on the user’s device and alerts regularly on applications that leak user’s data. Beautifully, this amazing wallet allow users to switch between multiple accounts they own and it’s available in many languages! Just wow.
The pros definitely outweigh the cons. It is highly recommended for your day to day trading and exchanges.

someone told me before that getting an eos wallet would always require some deposit ? would it also requires investment ?
EOS accounts aren't free although some projects give out freely sometimes. Transactions on EOS require staking some EOS for RAM and CPU, however you can borrow Rex on Tokenpocket, please download the mobile app.
