Interesting reading, my friend, has been for me that of this post. The only difference I see from the price increase of the BTC when it occurred in 2017 compared to the one you are experiencing now is that in 2017 the BTC increase was parallel to the increase of the SBD which reached $14.
On the other hand, I see that BTC is currently experiencing the increase you are talking about, but cryptomonies such as hive, hivedollars, steem and steemdollars still remain at very low prices. I imagine that this is due to the fact that the factors that are driving up the price of BTC are very different from those of 2017.
