I found out about Project Hope community when I was active posting in steem. I didn't like to be informed through my wallet about the updates, but I've seen most people completely ok with that. Maybe I was wrong and so strict whith other people. I've spent a lot of time moderating my group in facebook with more than 15k members. The group was given by facebook to me to moderate it and it has people posting everyday without any restriction. I will maybe convert it into a group where I will just share my video lessons about the Arabic language. I have now a channel with more than 2k subscribers, you can subscribe if you are interested : Арабский язык с носителем языка.
Anyways, I just wanted to share how I found about the community and why I was so strict. Now, I'm trying to grow in this community again. I think that will be easy for me. Because I can create quality content and I can be active in the community commenting others. Those are the only rules as I understand, if we add to that that we need to post about technology, blockchain, AI, cybersecurity. As well as economy, business and marketing. I like all those topics and I'm ready to add something new to that. I think those topics are very important for every human in the planet !
But, I still didn't talk about the game changing aspect if this community. In my opinion it's the way they curate the content. The name as well. I know how many people now need hope in the word. With all this pandemic story and what's happening to citizens all around the world, we need hope. The hope that will keep us alive and that will motivate us to keep improving and to have the chance to live a better life !
The curation of this community is great. There are so many consistent authors I know and a lot of them know me. We are like a family here and I'm sure that I will meet more people to not give up.
Also, I like the principle of how the community started. I mean the economy of the community. They share 20% beneficiary from their posts to @ph-fund to support Venezuelans. And you know the situation in such countries. I even live in much big country ''Russia'' and we have so many problems here and about 20% of poor people who work only to survive. I imagine how it's worse in countries as Venezuala or others. I also lived in a poor country called Algeria and I've seen people struggeling to survive. I've seen a lot in my life and still learn and see what's happening. We need such community to exist !
I think it's the game changer that proves that even the proof of stake can be unique, special, beneficial for everyone. That proves that not only the token matters, but the content and each member of the community is golden !

I can testify to what it is that participated in this community about a year or more ago, it has been the most important factor in keeping me alive, and I am not joking or exaggerating about it.A walk from not having an income to be able to buy food to receiving support in very complicated situations in my life, such as overcoming theft of my work tools and receiving help from the community to be able to get up and continue to maintain my income.
So yes, @project.hope has become an important element in my life and a factor where I maintain a win to win relationship. And to the point where I'm growing I'm already seeing it as magnificent business in which you must invest, because the profit goes far beyond the economic.

Well... these words echo my situation -
Because Project.hope has been a game changer for me. From someone who had no hope of doing anything, now I write on complexe topics like crypto, blockchain, economy, social-economic situation etc, without Project,hope, I would never have been motivated to move forward.
I have been almost told that I suck at writing - applied for content writting jobs, they said too much gramatical mistakes and not enough depth in my content but somehow, in project.hope I able to write and get some readers for it and recognition.
Now, I really feel that I am a well versed crypto person who can write well, although I take efforts to improve my writting and also my knowledge in crypto and that gets digested very well with my passion.
It's a encouraging community for writters that also helps venezuleans, so it has a good heart. And you know they support community members when they are targeted and lashed by others. It's a community with a heart,
I also like the diversity and inclusivity in the community...its like people from worldwide are here and its where atleast I can connect with people with my content.
I understood, from where ever you are, inside we humans are all the same, I don't get the oppurtunity to have a global audience for my articles.
I would say I have grown and developed a lot here as a writter sharing my opinions boldly, in facebook I shiver to write anything these days...crypto or about Govt. coz well don't feel safe there, Govt. may be offended and all that.
That's that. Anyway... I also like their values, valuing quality content and being against plagmarism.

It must be insane to manage such a huge group of people. Amount of spam posted, which you need to remove - must be enormous.
We indeed are supporting mostly active members. After all, our goal is to build community. Which would be difficult if we would attract people who do not care about engagement and investing their own time to read and comment on other people publications.
Actually, at this stage over 20 most active members (from Venezuela, India and Nigeria) are receiving some weekly financial support and we're growing. In return, those guys are helping me keep this community alive. They also help me to bring new delegations and promote our curation trail.
So in a way - they all created some extra source of income for themselfs.
