If you've ever thought about mining crypto but are frustrated by how specialized it has become, you may be interested in this young project which uses a genius trick to bring mining to the masses!
There was a time that anyone with a desktop computer could mine Bitcoin at home. Over time, however, more advanced equipment was needed to remain competitive, and by now, mining many cryptocurrencies at home is out of reach for most people. Idena, the "human-centric" blockchain network changes this paradigm, by only allowing one node be operated by any member. This is enforced by way of a regular, synchronized Turing test, where you must prove your humanness by solving "flip tests".

During a validation session, you solve a number of these tests and are rewarded with Idenas native token, DNA, which can be traded for Bitcoin, etc.
As the team ironed out bugs in the system, invites were very scarce in the early days. Now however, there are plenty of invites available. You can download the Idena client software on their official site, here. Then you just need to put in your invite code. The best place to get an invite is on the Idena Community Discord
Aside from blogging on HIVE, mining DNA with the Idena client is one of the easiest and most fun ways to generate crypto earnings with just a standard laptop or desktop computer. Not only that, but Idena is one of the most interesting and community focused blockchain projects out there.
