RE: Top Five Reasons Why Hive Could Be the Potential Steem-Killer

in Project HOPE5 years ago

Hi @gandhibaba

Interesting point of view. However I think, that HIVE will enjoy very different audience from STEEM. And there is simply enough space for both of those two parties to be succesful.

However in a long term I found it hard to see HIVE doing better than steem. Perhaps I'm wrong. However they didn't make any changes within their token economy and it's all just the way it has been in past years. So I would only expect constant price drop, just like we've seen with steem since I remember.

On the other hand it's hard to say if changes within STEEM token economy (centralization and increased control over distribution of inflation) will make things better or worse. However lack of change means that we would follow footsteps from the past. So on one hand - I see gloomy future for HIVE and uncertain future for STEEM.

Neither one can really kill the other. If anything - those two can (and perhaps will) die from within. Collapsing under many unresolved issues.

Hopefully I'm wrong. Cheers.
Yours, Piotr

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. For me, I do not see anything positive about how Steem is presently run but that does not mean that the price will decline - it could even explode in price. But as for the internal development, Hive is likely to do better. Yet, we'll see how everything turns out. Cheers!
