Finally I've managed to read your post. I bookmarked it like 2 days ago, to ensure to check it out once I have some free time :)

What your country is going through is beyond my imagination and capability to understand it. Venezuela is also living proof, that no matter how bad things would be - life just carry on and it simply doesn't stop. People (majority of them) will find ways of surviving. One way or another.

Venezuelans do not find it possible to resort to a plan B that would allow them to supply themselves with the basic products to survive.

Lack of electricity must be also a huge problem.
