	We all get hammered by life from time to time. And we pray and hope, that nothing drastic will happen to us or to people who we love, respect and value ....

INTRODUCTION

... and yet, sometimes we don't see SH*T coming.

Waking up next to the person you truly love seems like a great way to start a day. Isn't it? At this very moment, we don't know yet how our day will look like.

However learning moments later that good friend in Asia, who mean a lot to you has been exposed on a daily basis to someone infected with coronavirus is a hammer.

The first one today. Not last.

UNEXPECTED REQUEST

Minutes later I opened the telegram and I've read a message from @reinaldoverdu

Hi Piotr:
This time I need your help, I am in serious trouble, for a few days I am in poor health, I spit blood and my gums bleed, I do not know why it is and I do not have the resources to go to a doctor;

Then I need your help and advice, I thought that maybe you could give me 2 or 3 votes with project.hope to my comments, I really need it, I really feel very bad, I want to leave but I don't have the strength, I wait for your advice

His words truly saddened me even more. Second hammer this morning.

I do receive a request for financial support every few weeks. Usually, from people I never knew before, so it's easy to ignore those requests and move on with my life.

However, @reinaldoverdu is someone I know for over a year. I've learned to trust and value him. He also recently joined @project.hope community and is very active within our team - engaging with others and being very supportive.

What got my attention is his unusual request. He doesn't ask about money or steem.
All he asks is to give his 2-3 latest comment strong upvote.

HELP ME HELP REINALDO

Fulfilling this request with my own upvote (total of 300k SP only) surely wouldn't be a game-changer.

However - I figured - if more people would join this little initiative, then perhaps we could help Reinaldo to raise some funds necessary for basic medical treatment.

I was surprised by this post.
I want to thank you for the support you are offering me @crypto.piotr with your support can make a difference.
I was talking with the colleague @josevas217 who is a doctor, and he was assisting me telling me the possible causes of my problem, apparently the bleeding of the gums is due to deficiencies in food, lack of carnitidine and vitamin c. For those who do not know, living in Venezuela and trying to eat properly is a challenge, because it is very difficult to have access to food or medical services, because their prices are so high that in cases a single medicine can cost the salary of 3 years. It is a very uncomfortable reality and difficult to overcome, I appreciate all the support and help you give me, it will help me overcome this difficult situation. I suffered a fever, a headache but they left, now I only have bleeding in the gums and every time I got up in the morning I have clots in my teeth. With your help I hope to have what it takes to overcome this problem, which I must also tell you is very scary.

Nothing easy and I know what you go through I know what it is not to feed well and when we have children we stop eating, so that my daughters at least once a week eat well, I regret not having more steem, but I send you everything I had charged in Topfivefamily so you can buy something is not much but I have no more ..

I share solidarity with this partner and I really want him to improve, I'm also from Venezuela and really that here is a bad thing to get sick ... ok, it's bad anywhere in the world, but it's very bad in a place where hospitals don't they have water, electricity fails EVERY day at different times, there are gas supply failures, transport is scarce, more than 70% of the population have severe limitations to feed us balancedly 3 times a day, the minimum monthly salary is equivalent to $ 3.71 and medications are impossible to buy ...

Nothing nice is this scenario.

Oh no @crypto.piotr, indeed I have not. My husband passed away on the 29th of November and I have been in a sad place ever since. Slowly the fog is lifting and I am feeling more and more my old self.
