Hello @revise.leo
It's good to know that, in the end, if you earn even less than you used to in your well-paid job, you end up adjusting your expenses. And buy only what you need. But you have more time to invest in yourself. Which is the important thing.
Well, I must say that I live in Colombia, in a country where the minimum wage is $230 a month. In my case, I need about $300 to be quite well. Stable, I know that in countries like the United States and even in Europe to live with that amount is unthinkable, but here you can.
I invested in something related to trading, a friend who is a professional in that area, has been living off it for a long time, and it allows me to generate a good percentage of the capital I have invested, and so does my wife.
Besides, what I generate here in the platform, and in others in which I have support, allows me to cover part of the expenses. And of course, it's not just me, my wife also has her other constant income, via the Internet. We are fine, to tell the truth, and with free time, which is the best.
There is another business, related to the work I did before. I used to sell in hardware stores, but I worked for a distribution company, I have more than 150 customers, which allows me to have a good field of action, via telephone I can work, offer some products to these customers and then buy them and take them away, with a profit margin for me. Very easy really. That, among other things I can do from home, but organizing my schedule and my time, without pressure. And with a lot of peace of mind, actually, as you say, being myself, is the best.
Sounds like you've got it covered - nice diversified income streams, and no doubt you're looking to expand them all the time!

In addition, before I quit I took care of saving money for three months of the rent and guaranteed a roof over my head, as well as food. Well planned things are subject to less risk, although they do not eliminate them from everything. But here I go.
Thank you very much for commenting @revise.leo.

Ah a three month buffer, yes good move, I think that's the minimum I'd like to have before making a big life change!
