When I stepped into the world of crypto, my platform was firstly steemit and the first Exchange was @bittrex. And my case is different than others because i learned steem coin first in crypto field and then i was know about bitcoin. In most cases, people first come to the bitcoin and then they started knowing about other alt coins and their projects.
But i learned bitcoin through steemit and first ever used coin is steem of mine. now here is hive for us which is derived from the steem. Well here is why i choose bittrex as a favourite exchange, you should know about it. The reason behind this is not that i had used it first ever but also there are several reasons that i will discuss here.
Well i am the person who do mistake many times. But if i am talking about bittrex then there is no tension about wrong transactions. Many times I had sent hive coins to HBD address and HBD coins to hive address. But Whenever i had contacted them, they refunded it within twenty four hours and sometime it taken seven days.
And this is the reason behind the word decent support. Because i have got my refund 10-12 times in bittrex not only in hive and hbd but steem/sbd as well. They refunding because both coins are listed there but still it is good support. And there is not a single email in which they have not replied me.
Another thing is good liquidity in hive and HBD. I don't trade other coins but most of the time i trade between hive and HBD and it is easy as eating the cake. And i am getting exact trade price here and high volume. So i have completed most of the trades here of my life.
Well Other exchanges that i am using most is Steem-engine. Steem-engine is my favourite exchange too. And it is second most used exchange of mine. I Am Trading hive and DEC there. And wazirx is third. Sometime i use Wazirx exchange for p2p and convert crypto to INR or deposit INR. I have KYC verified account in both Wazirx and bittrex.

Every exchange has pros and cons and bittrex has too. But there are more pros than cons. I have seen many negative reviews of bittrex in crypto forums. But in my case i have not faced any issue yet. But lots of people talking about it and giving negative reviews that mean something wrong is going on. But as you seen i have no problem with bittrex. I think you need to use kyc verified bittrex account.

In the beginning i was seen this bitcoin forum topic about bittrex and i was just demotivated and even some people calling bittrex exchange owner is scammer. But i was keep using it and i verified kyc in my account and it just won my trust and now i can say that this is my favourite exchange.

Last words i want to say that never Trust on any exchanges it is not safe to keep your funds in any exchanges. If you want to save your bitcoin then ledger wallet is one of the best solution for it. Keep your funds in ledger wallet. And Save your hive and hbd in hive wallet. Hive power is the safest place to save your hive. But you have to take care of your keys.
Avoid using suspicious site to prevent from phishing, Use virtual keyabord to type first 6-7 letters of steemit password, Never download suspicious file. So this is the safest way to save your hive/hbd from the hackers. If you following this strictly, hive wallet is the safest place to store your hive/hbd.
