Yesterday I was writing a post which was talking about why starting your business on a borrowed loan is a bad idea when the topic above came into my mind. Without being told, we have seen the surge in the field of being an Entreprenuer/business owner. Almost all my friends have turned into an Entreprenuer/business owner, including me. We are trying to spread our wings but truth be told, many are not into the business because of the business interest but rather still, our own selfish interest. I had some encounter with some guys who claimed they are into one or two business. You will see them doing heavy promo, but when they have little chanllenges, they will eventually stop the business. That will be the end of it.

If truly you love what you are doing and it have issues, you will never want to give up, you will look for all necessary strategies to get it back on it feet. That will only happen if that business is being loved heavily by you, but if you don't have that driving force and love for the business, you will never want to give it a listening ear nor a much needed attention. I have said it time without number that when you are doing something that you truly love, you will see that thing hitting apex without you struggling to get it to that angle. It will surely be hard to see you failing in a field that you are good at.

Now the spike in the business world is just like seeing a fake bubble in the crypto world. I have made research and see that the business world is now being dominated by those who lack business skills. I will say those who are just in the business field just to exploit the beauty of the business and make gains from it. The field is not the right one for them that is why there is no zeal to push it to an apex height. They are just enjoying how things goes and if it goes their ways, they will make good gain and consider other options. I remember far back in the days when you will see few people into business. They venture into it because of the love they have for their field. You will see that come rain come sunshine, they will never deviate from the business. Back in the days, these people are not common. People never rush into entreprenuersip, it is people trained in that field that goes into it.

But nowadays all what we are seeing is quiet funny. I am not against people testing such field, I am just against those who are not treating the field with how it is supposed to be treated. No wonder we are seeing such great rise. Anytime I check my whatapp status and facebook account, I must see more than 10 friends selling one product or the other. This is not common back in the days .
With all that being said, permit me to tell you a story of my friend who came to meet me to help him order goods online. He wants to start selling clothing wears.

Early last year, he was recommended to me by a friend. He met me and told me his motive. He wanted to be an entreprenuer and he will love me to help him order goods from oversees. I was really happy to hear that from him. I told him, hope he is ready to stay in this field for long and he should know that business is not that easy. I told him to prepare for the ups and down he will be facing from the business. He told me he is fully prepared before coming to me. This gladdens my heart again.

I told him before I will let him test the market, I will like him to get his dairy book ready. He will be using it to make entries for all the items bought. With that, he will be able to know the items he bought, the amount and how much he will sells it. He consented and he fails to take this very serious. I preached and preached, same result.
The goods we bought began to arrive, he was making sales and enjoying the profit. I advice him to invest his profit back, he said he will do it. He still failed on that part. To cut the long story short, he is now out of the business, the business has died. Assuming he his not here just for the gain, and he loves his business, he would have look for ways to revive the business. You can see that Mr Ademola is one of those entrepreneur I was referring to.

If you are that business owner who goes into business just to enjoy the benefit and in return don't want to contribute anything back into the business, I urge you to stop such motive and give your business the love and attention it needed. Treat it like your whole live depends on it and see how it will hit apex. When it does hit apex, you will end up benefitting more than you ever think.

Business is hard. Very hard. And it takes all your time and then some to make one successful.
Your comment about taking out a loan to start a business is right. Going into debt to start a business is a terrible idea. And was one of my first mistakes.
My business failure cost me upwards of $200,000 and I'm recovering from that failure to this day.
I worked countless hours to try to fix my failing business as I truly loved it but it still failed. I have the utmost respect for those who create a successful business. They've achieved where I failed.
You are very right that if you don't love your business and are willing to spend all your time making it a success, then you don't deserve to be a business owner.
