You may notice that settings don't really make sense as i could have get the ISO down at least one stop, but i am fine with ISO to at least 1000 so i just left it there.

And as this other shot was lit mostly from the back, i just dropped F-stop to get some more light.

Absolutely nothing wrong with high ISO if it works. All photography "rules" are good to be broken for the right reasons and the right effects!

Your cousin again? :) Why so fast Shutter speed? You could easily compensate for ISO. If I would be shooting, 1/200 would be max. After all, she is not moving and there is 85mm. However, the photo is lovely as it is, I am just curious.

nop, photographed 18 birthday party. some strange circumstances got me to photograph parties (mostly 18 b-days). a side job that is fun and gives me excuses for buying new gear :D

i seen that when i seen the settings :D i was in the darker part of that place and left iso higher and unconsciously compensated more light with shooter speed. f stop was the part i was thinking about. and i probably did not think to change ISO first because there is no quick button to change :D
