Incredible as this may seem, I completely forgot about this photoshoot with Jade. We shot this set with @bbphotography in an abandoned colliery building which is sadly now demolished to make way for houses I can't afford!
I'm not quite sure why I never posted most of the images from this set. Maybe it's because I was using a kit lens and I didn't feel these were sharp enough or with blurry enough backgrounds. Or maybe Jade isn't "my type" but then I remember I'm quite old compared to Jade and whether she's my type or not makes no difference!
So here they are, images made with Jade!
Recline
I'm a big fan of filling a frame but not necessarily cutting arms, hands or legs off. Tilting the camera seems to work.
Appealing and a Peeling
Derelict places make great backdrops for model shoots. The peeling paint here would be far too difficult to replicate.
In the baths
The location was part of an old colliery and in particular here Jade was posing in the entrance to the baths where miners would emerge having showered after a shift. I'm pretty sure the miners would have appreciated Jade if she was there at the time!
Folds
I think I rejected this shot because of the folds of skin around her abdomen and it might be considered unflattering by the model. These days I'm a warts and all kinda guy and shoot what I see.
Adjustment
Here Jade was making an adjustment to her stockings and ever the professional managed to turn it in to a pose when she realised I was shooting.
Recline again
Sometimes I come back from a photoshoot with too many similar shots but I couldn't not post this one. I usually reject these kinds of shots where I've cut a leg or an arm off! It's a pet hate!
Graff
In these kinds of buildings, I'm always on the lookout for interesting backdrops. In this case the graffiti compliments Jade's femininity.
The Flowing Dress
I have absolutely no idea why I rejected this shot with Jade rocking the pose in a flowing dress! Maybe I should wait a while and revisit images after a photoshoot; I might spot something new I never noticed before!
About me:
I usually specialise in shooting lightpainting images but occasionally dabble in urbex and artistic model photography. I'm always on the lookout for someone to collaborate with; please don't hesitate to get in touch if you'd like to create art.

Just an observation, but we only see each other when there is a beautiful young lady involved in a grubby, derelict, dirty building. Wonder what that says about us 😂 Nice shots mate
Yep, so it seems. Maybe we should do a central London city shoot to make up for it but then again that place isn't so clean either!! 😂
Really great shots mate, and such a shame the site is no longer there anymore!
Verrrry cool, sorry i missed these
