i have moved from adobe `and their extortionate monthly fees to Luminair AI, it does lack the ability for playing about with layers, but I think for editing and retouching it is as good as if not better than photoshop tbh.

I have heard Luminar mentioned here and there but haven’t looked into it. I use three different Adobe programs so I don’t think Luminar could replace that for me. It’s certainly interesting to see if in the future there is an actual contenter for Adobe.
I am just as an amateur thinking of the cost, a one off purchase for around 50 euros, against a monthly out lay of 30 euros. No as a pro, you would need something far more intricate
