English version

If anyone had the opportunity to know the turntable, they know what it was like to take the acetate record, clean it and put it in its place, then see how the turntable moved its needle and placed it on the record while it turned, that was quite a spectacle of the modernity of the moment.

I remember that at my grandfather's house there was one and I always told my aunt to let me put the record on, I could let all the songs run from beginning to end or you could also pick up the needle and place it on the song you wanted, because If you looked closely, it had lines that represented the location of each song.

When one side was playing, you just turned it over to listen to the songs on the other side, I remember they had between 5 or 6 songs per side.

At that time I was still very young but I think there was no piracy in music because nobody had how to make those records and then make copies, so at that time they were all original and the groups earned just enough for their sales, it was a competitive market but free of copies.

After growing up when my brother had a minitheca, I was able to appreciate closely the work of DJs when mixing music with these acetate discs, using a mixer in which two discs were played at the same time, having the possibility of silencing one while the other played music.

The technique used by the DJ consisted of adjusting the revolutions of each album and at a given moment the two sounded at the same time, in a harmonious way in which the mix was noticeable but in a talented way, which promoted following the party atmosphere.

A truly great time that was lived with the acetate record, there are still people who keep them as memories and witnesses of the moments lived, the danced parties and even the loves conquered listening to the good music that sounded.

I have very find memories of vinyl records. I spent almost every weekend going to a local market to buy them and then spent a lot of time in my room listening and looking at the record sleeves. It was great to look at the artwork and sing along with the lyrics!

For me it was also a time that left me very fond memories listening to good music and getting to scratch the records from listening to them so much.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read and comment !!!!
