Voces Privilegiadas
English Version
This seems to be the story of some artists who manage to become icons of times or who become classics that never go out of style, and it is not the product of luck but of hard work, with struggle and perseverance, because their lives have not been not easy but they have known how to take advantage of the talent that God put in them.
Today I want to highlight the talent of Freddie Mercury who came out of nowhere with his peculiar voice and his talent on stage, so much so that it was as if he were in a theatrical play, that captivated his audience who chanted his songs in one voice, to Despite this, he was a shy man, although in his staging he was outgoing and dynamic, but his closest friends knew what he really was like.
He was a great composer, he wrote many of the hits of the band Queen, of which he was the lead singer, such as "Killer Queen", "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Somebody to Love", "We Are the Champions", "Don ' "Stop Me Now", "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", "It's a Hard Life" or "Innuendo", his style to compose was very broad including rockabilly, progressive rock, heavy metal, gospel and disco music.
In his best moments he was harshly criticized for his sexual inclination, but that does not detract from his musical career, because as a performer he has been widely recognized for his powerful voice, in 2005, in a poll organized by Blender and MTV2, he was named the greatest male singer of all time, in 2006, Time Asia magazine named him as one of the most influential Asian heroes of the last sixty years, in 2008, the American magazine Rolling Stone placed him in 18th position on their list of the 100 best singers of all time, while Classic Rock, the following year, considered him the best rock singer in history. For its part, Allmusic defined Mercury as "one of the most charismatic and dynamic leaders in history of rock »
The musical legacy of this artist is undeniable, he was definitely one of those people who leave an indelible mark on history, who is unique in his style and there is no comparison with anyone, he is good among the good. For my part it is a recognition of the star who lived and will live forever "Freddie Mercury" has a statue in his honor in Montreux, Switzerland.
