Hola, saludos a todos. Hoy quiero hablar sobre una canción en particular, la cual me hizo sentir melancolía y tristeza sin siquiera saber que decía. Esta pieza es de la banda británica de pop rock y rock alternativo Coldplay. Claro este grupo tiene muchas otras canciones muy buenas pero quiero hablar en especial de esta.
La canción en cuestión lleva por nombre The Scientist y fue la primera que escuché de este grupo. Recuerdo que iba en un transporte público y el conductor tenía sintonizada una emisora en la radio que la estaba colocando. Cuando escuché al cantante sentí como si una leve sensación de tristeza me invadiera, como cuando te falta algo pero no sabes qué es. Es un sentimiento extraño, si tomaba en cuenta que para ese entonces tenía una noción muy básica del idioma inglés. Pero definitivamente la interpretación del cantante y la música lograron el cometido, provocar ese sentimiento que te hace partícipe de la letra y que te conmueve tanto que puedes hasta llorar.
Mucho tiempo después la volví a escuchar en mi casa, tenía sintonizada una emisora en la radio y los presentadores la estaban anunciando. No tenía ni la remota idea que era la misma canción que había escuchado aquella vez en el autobús, pero cuando escuché la letra supe que era esa inolvidable canción, me acosté en el sofá de la sala y me quedé escuchando esta pieza. Nuevamente me invadieron los mismos sentimientos de la primera vez, me empezaron a brotar lágrimas y lloré levemente. Ese sentimiento me llevó a buscarla en internet, encontré el video musical, el cual me pareció hermoso y no lo voy a negar, volví a llorar. Definitivamente es una de las pocas canciones que me hace sentir así.
Al principio pensaba que trataba de algo tan doloroso como la muerte de un ser querido y cuando vi el video supuse lo mismo. Pero cuando leí la letra traducida al español y luego de hablar de esta con mi pareja llegamos a la conclusión de que si se trataba de una pérdida, más no de una muerte. A nuestro entender se trata de la separación de una pareja en cuanto al amor que sentían al inicio de la relación. El personaje principal quisiera volver el tiempo atrás y revivir los bonitos momentos, quisiera poder cambiar la forma en la que todo se fue desvaneciendo, para así continuar con su amor por siempre. Para mí esta pieza es hermosa.

Hello, greetings to all. Today I want to talk about a song in particular, which made me feel melancholy and sad without even knowing what it was saying. This piece is by British pop rock and alternative rock band Coldplay. Of course this group has many other very good songs but I want to talk about this one in particular.
The song in question is called The Scientist and it was the first I heard from this group. I remember that I was on public transport and the driver had tuned into a station on the radio that was putting it on. When I listened to the singer I felt as if a slight feeling of sadness invaded me, like when something is missing but you don't know what it is. It's a strange feeling, if you take into account that by then I had a very basic notion of the English language. But definitely the interpretation of the singer and the music achieved the task, provoke that feeling that makes you participate in the lyrics and that moves you so much that you can even cry.
A long time later I listened to it again at home, I had a radio station tuned in and the presenters were announcing it. I had no idea that it was the same song I had heard that time on the bus, but when I heard the lyrics I knew it was that unforgettable song, I lay down on the living room sofa and listened to this piece. Again the same feelings invaded me as the first time, tears began to flow and I cried slightly. That feeling led me to look for it on the internet, I found the music video, which I found beautiful and I will not deny it, I cried again. It's definitely one of the few songs that makes me feel like this.
At first I thought it was dealing with something as painful as the death of a loved one and when I saw the video I assumed the same. But when I read the lyrics translated into Spanish and after talking about it with my partner, we came to the conclusion that it was a loss, but not a death. In our understanding it is about the separation of a couple in terms of the love they felt at the beginning of the relationship. The main character would like to go back in time and relive the beautiful moments, he would like to be able to change the way in which everything was fading, in order to continue with his love forever. For me this piece is beautiful.
