The other one is the scissor arm suspension stand for your mic this costs around $8 you can put this on your closet that's a grate place to record if you don't have a studio the other option is covering yourself with a blanket.
For the software you can use GarageBand if you have an IOS device or BandLAB if you have Android these are free options to other paid software.
