The MUSIC in the GYM

Hello again! I´m Marcos and I usually train with music because that stimulates me and makes me feel more active and more wanting to get to it, after this, I want to investigate about this and yesterday I made a research because for me it´s very curious and I want to know how this can be possible, I hope you can learn something new

The ORIGINS

All this needs to have some basis in the history, some experts and one investigation in 2003 said that the greeks used to train his body with oboe rythms, other sources claim the gladiators used to train with tuba sounds and the use of flute in the celebration of the Olympics.

The EFFECTS in the TRAINING

  1. Listen to music in the train makes us feel less sense of effort, to 55%-60% levels
  2. Boost your training: music increases motivation to the limit and it allows you to move your mind far from negative thoughts
  3. Some investigations affirm the music reduces heart pressure, blood pressure and the heartbeat, but this are not entirely reliable.
  4. In some aerobic sports, the times of the athletes were reduced in most cases, like the indicates in 2016 by Montero - Herrera, in running they observed that people who listened to music used to do more distance and, generally, in less time.
  5. Normally, the people who listen to music in the trainings are people who needs more motivation because, usually, they´ve been training less time, and the studies confirm it. Music has been found to bring more benefits to beginners, sedentary people and intermediate people
  6. Delayed feeling of fatigue

The EFFECTS after TRAINING

After a hard work out, all people want and should rest well to improve the existing benefits of training so here are some effects the music do.

  1. Stops the stress, as you read it, the music reduces stress and specially it reduces the cortisone who is the responsible for us suffering from stress, singing aloud also makes us rest better, as it involves increased muscle activity and therefore promotes relaxation
  2. Improves sleep with everything mentioned above, we already know everything that generates music in our body, but the most important thing is that in the end it makes us rest better because we usually release more emotions and this makes the head more clear and therefore at the time of sleep it makes us easier to fall asleep

CONCLUSIONS

The music gives us more energy when it comes to training, less feeling of fatigue and tiredness, reduces blood pressure and after all that helps us to rest better
