The prelude to the choral "Herr, ich habe misgehandelt" is another beautiful organ composition by Christian Gotthil Tag. I keep wondering why the music of this composer is not played more often by organists. The music beautifully expresses the feelings of remorse and regret. A revival of Tag's music is in order, and hopefully this score will contribute to that.
The recording was done with the Hauptwerk software and the sample set, made by Voxus, of the Van Dam organ (1832) in Tholen (https://www.voxusorgans.com/en/product/tholen).
