This morning my partner and I went out for an early morning walk before I had breakfast & he went to work. We walked 2km that took 31m 25s. What really stood out to me as wanting to be photographed were the natural views in the bush that I cannot find anywhere else.
I feel like sometimes our local environment is the most beautiful work of art. The photo below show gum leaves (aka Eucalyptus leaves) on the ground, of various shades, dropped from very tall trees above the path and scattered by the wind.
Then there are parts of the path that are full of rocks and stones of different sizes and shapes, and again, varying in colour. I don't know if other people find rocks to be beautiful, but I certainly do, especially when in the bush, just as they are.
And then we also have less natural and more human influenced aspects of our local conversation area. The woodchips below my shoes were plants and trees only a week ago. But the local council needs to maintain the park and its access to waterpipes, so every few years they widen the paths by slashing and mulching some of the vegetation.
Part of me finds this sad, but another part of me also knows that if they didn't maintain these paths it would be very hard for us to get into this chunk of bush on foot or on our bikes and enjoy it.
