I don't use Jells lol, I sometimes take snacks with me on longer runs (biscuits/cakes etc) but nothing with me on this one... perhaps that might have helped, although other than slightly sore legs, I didn't really feel that tired. I wasn't lacking energy or 'bonking' etc
I think it was mostly a combination of that hard 5km effort (and getting under 25 mins is a hard effort for me atm) and its the longest distance I've run in a while (the last time I ran something like this was 27km way back in April)
I like the idea of those photo squares, I think they make for better pictures than the signs
