Nice mate! Hope the ultra goes well. I ran 2 half marathons and tried to work my way up to a full, before unfortunately injuring my knee after a training run. Looking back, I think I pushed myself too hard too quickly. 16km run is impressive practice - well done!
Thanks mate. Sounds a lot like myself last year. Tried to build up too much too fast and ended up injured as well. More than often men usually learn things the hard way 🤣
Hopefully the knee heels and you can finish that marathon one day.. the !beer definitely tastes better after.
