Not that I think you need more motivation Steve, because you get out there all on your own. But yesterday my wife showed me this study, that basically proves that staying, keeping muscles good, basically ensures a healthy life.
In other words. Yes, eating right is great, not drinking is excellent, not smoking, awesome. But they are cups of water in the pool of consequence. Staying active is "the final boss".
I have to ask, mainly because of my personal experience. How do your knees do with all this running?
I eat fairly well with a few treats, but I spend a lot of time sitting, so I need to get out and exercise. I quite enjoy being out there exploring the area.
My knees are totally fine. I know some runners have issues with them, but I'm not doing massive distance every week.
